WINDWS 10 BUILD 10240 STORE ERROR CODE: 0x80131500

Q. I upgraded from windows 10 build 10041 where most apps were not working to windows 10 build 10240. this one seems so sweet but windows store cant open, it brings an error code-0x80131500, its says server has stumbled. I tried the PowerShell thing on command prompt but nothing seems t work. what could be the issue?


Method 1:

Try doing Windows Store reset and check if it helps or not:

  1. Press Windows key+ R for run command to appear.
  2. Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.

It will help you clean the Store cache, then check if it’s working or not.
