Q. Will the new Windows 10 still run Internet Explorer 11? I currently use IE11 on Windows 8.1 and would need to keep using IE11 for one of my jobs. It is compatible with a toolbar I must use to complete my work. I am afraid to upgrade to Windows 10 and not be able to do my job if the browser is different.
Answer.
Windows 10 will continue to include an updated version of Internet Explorer 11 for compatibility with legacy web sites. Microsoft Edge is based on a new engine, so some older web sites will switch to the older Internet Explorer 11 engine for compatibility purposes.
So you will able to continue running Internet Explorer 11 without issue.
