The last USB device you connected to this computer has malfunctioned and windows doesn’t recognize it

I have tried repeatedly to fix this issue and I cannot find the correct answer. I have searched the web, YouTube, threads and nothing has fixed my issue. I have a USB port with the error “windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (code 43) A request for the USB device descriptor fail, or port reset failed.

There is a yellow exclamation point beside the USB in device manger. I have uninstalled, re-installed it, check all USB controllers to make sure they are all OK, and updated all the drivers and I still cannot get this port to work. The cable to the device works on all other computers and devices. The cable is for my phone to transfer files and backup my phone up to Kies Air in windows 10. I have used different cables and I still get the same result, please help.

I found this helpful and working…  just give a try

1.Go to Start >Type “Run” and hit enter

2.Then typedevmgmt.mscand hit enter

3.Select“Universal serial bus controllers” expand it and SelectGeneric USB Hub” then RightClick on it and disable it.

After that notification will be stopped. And Re enable  “Generic USB Hub”
