Q. My computer always has a Phantom “other user” on the startup screen; I looked into the accounts and mine is the only account there, no one else. and I’ve never used another account on this computer. I don’t understand how to get rid of this.
I always have to hit enter, get denied, hit the back button to see my actual account, and then enter my password for the correct account.

I suggest you to follow the step provided below to switch user.
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete key.
- Click on Switch User.
- And select your user account.
Follow the steps provided below to remove Microsoft account.
- Press Windows + I key.
- Click on Accounts.
- In your accounts, at the bottom click on the account you want to remove.
- Then click on the Remove button.
