Q. I like Microsoft Picture Manager. It seems to have gone in Windows 10. Any ideas on how to get it back or what is the best alternative now?

I have just discovered the massive booboo that someone has created.  Yes, it looks ‘edgy’ BUT IT DOES NOT WORK.

I didn’t just like it, I based my entire reference image storage on it in TWO places: My Pictures and My Pictures public.

I never did work out what the difference was, and worked around it,  but the My Pictures public folders did not survive the “upgrade” and I can not imagine what kind of crass stupidity went into the so-called improvement.

Meantime, I will return my lost pix – fortunately, backed up on a hard drive – one at a time – as I no longer trust the new picture manager with all my images.
