Q. I had a problem today, the watermark “Activate Windows go to settings to activate Windows” appeared and wouldn’t go away even after updating and rebooting many times. I ran the troubleshooter, that had a lot of trouble functioning but finally told me that I have a digital license for Windows 10 Home, but on my computer is installed Windows 10 Pro.
Impossible for me to find how to revert back to Home, or how to get Pro, knowing that I never changed hardware nor modified in any way Windows since I updated for free from Windows 8.
Could you please help me to find a solution to activate normally Windows, and ultimately get rid of that annoying watermark?
Answer.
