Windows 10 performed an update over last night and this morning I could not access my computer. Clearly something went wrong because the update did not create a restore point so will not oll back.

I have tried all the suggestions below and have not cured the problem. DISM.exe /online does not work and just reports an error. Sfc rums initial validation but goes o further -again repoint an error. I have downloaded the iso ile above via my tablet but 1 annot copy it to a dvd to run onthe pc.

Without windows i cannot connect to the Internet – what is the solution? Obviously Microsoft have issued an untested update (again) and I for one now have a c that may need to go to a repairer -assuming it can be recovered without losing my data and my installed applications.
